Prior to founding Greystone, Rich worked at Madison Dearborn Partners for over 20 years, where he was a Partner and led the firm's industrial investment team.
During his time at Madison Dearborn, Rich was involved in numerous investments and served on eleven Boards of Directors. Prior to Madison Dearborn, Rich worked in private equity at Thomas H. Lee Partners and investment banking at Morgan Stanley. Outside of Greystone, Rich serves as a Trustee at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry and a member of the Kellogg School of Management Private Equity Advisory Counsel.
Rich holds an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and an AB from Duke University. He lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and three children.
Prior to founding Greystone, Drew worked at Madison Dearborn Partners for over 10 years, where he was a Managing Director focused on investments in the industrial sector.
During his time at Madison Dearborn, Drew was involved in numerous investments and served on nine Boards of Directors. Prior to joining Madison Dearborn, Drew worked in private equity at GTCR and investment banking at Citi.
Drew holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Seattle Pacific University. He lives in Chicago with his wife and two daughters.
Prior to founding Greystone, Mike worked at Madison Dearborn Partners for over 7 years, where he was a Director focused on investments in the industrial sector.
During his time at Madison Dearborn, Mike was involved in numerous investments and served on seven Boards of Directors. Prior to joining Madison Dearborn, Mike worked in investment banking at Greenhill & Co. Outside of Greystone, Mike is a member of the Kellogg School of Management's PEAC Emerging Leaders Council.

Prior to joining Greystone, Josh worked at Baird serving as an Investment Banking Analyst within the Global Industrial Group.
During his time at Baird, Josh was involved in executing M&A transactions primarily spanning the Building Products, Distribution, and Industrial Equipment sectors. Prior to joining Baird, Josh worked in transaction advisory at E&Y.
Josh holds an MS and BS from Indiana University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Illinois. He lives in Chicago with his wife.
Richard serves as CFO for Greystone Industrial Partners. He is the Founder of Starrlight Advisory.
Richard has a diverse background in alternative investments. He has operated for nearly 20 years across private markets, including as a CFO & CCO of several GPs, an institutional LP, and a manager in professional services. He served as CFO & CCO at Courage Capital and Savant Growth and as the Head of Finance/Operations and CCO of GroundForce Capital. Mr. Schnuerer oversaw fund mandates spanning across private equity, growth equity, private credit, venture capital, hedge, and SBIC. He operated as an institutional LP at Merrill Lynch where he conducted business and operational due diligence on alternative investment managers and their funds. Richard began his career in roles at Deloitte and KPMG in their audit and advisory businesses focusing on investment management and banking clients. He graduated from The Ohio State University where he double majored in Accounting and Finance and minored in Economics. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Ohio and New York).
